yes, well, still alive and stuff.
Hey. no post for long time. sorry about that. well just a pasting of my testimony i sent out yesterday. Will really try to post more often now! man i sound like a broken record. Its Christmas!!! :D busy busy....

Hello all!
Well. its going to be a short testimony. been quite some time since i last
shared.
anyway, on tuesday, God got me out of a small problem. yup. on monday after
camp and stuff went home tired, so ended up sleeping till late. anyhow,
after that went church for drama, and then back home (which is another
testimony in itself). Somewhere there, i kinda fell asleep unintentionally
after all that on my mom's bed. Somehow, i kinda broke my specs, one of the
sides of it anyway.
So i figured i'ld fix it the next morning. tuesday morning i got up, kinda
figured since i had my eye appointment in Jan 05, i'ld just try to fix my
glasses and not get a new pair/frame. so off i went downstairs, got me a
tube of super glue at $1, and went up again to fix my specs.
Being as far sighted as a bat without my glasses, i kinda bent in slightly
so i could see what i was doing. so off went the super glue cap, flipped it
round, and tried my best to poke the hole into it without squeezing the
tube... didn't want superglue all over my desk see.
The moment i poked the hole, the glue squirted. one or two of those drops
flew into my right eye.
Its all a slight daze now, can barely remember what i did. I know i did not
totally panic, coz i had the sense of mind not to a)rub my eyes, b) blink,
c) do something stupid. I remember trying to look for eyedrops, called out
to my dad (who thankfully was home), then was rushed to the sink where i
spent a good amount of time splashing a ton of water into my eye. I still
remember looking up into the mirror and seeing my right eye as a mass of
red... stuff. The pain was muted, and i still didn't dare to blink.
Somewhere in all that few chaotic moments; i prayed (eyes open), i worried
about losing an eye, i oddly thought of how i'ld look with an eyepatch on.
But... somehow God kept me from doing anything dumb, and i even had time to
fix my glasses before we rushed off to see a doctor. But I prayed... and
decided to trust God regardless.
One polyclinic, two doctors, and three hours later, i was diagnosed as
perfectly fine. Fact is, the specialist at AH kept asking me if I was sure
if the glue got into my eyes. (and yes i was sure... how the heck do you get
something in your eye and not be sure about it?) the whole point was that by
the time i reached AH, there wasn't a trace of the glue left in my eye.
None. Nada. Zip. there was a spot on my eyelid, and a blotch on my eyebrows,
but nothing else. My eye had gone back to its normal white-ish color.
So i just want ot testify that God has been merciful and gracious.... Priase
the Lord! Be full of hope even when things seem bad, and ask the Lord for a
heart that will seek to worship and praise Him even in the most dire of
situations!
Yup. Cool stuff. Also thank God i'm in the army... free medical all teh way!
:D even the medication (eye drops and... eye cream o.O) was free. :D
