Today on my way home, I asked myself, what is love?
I was thinking about it when I boarded the bus home. Sitting there in a wheelchair was a man, with a woman, who was probably his wife, standing next to him. This man had a misshapen skull; a third of his skull, on the right side, was caved in.
I politely stood nearby and did not stare, but could not help but watch out of the corner of my eye as the couple held hands, gently touching each other, speaking softly.
I got off the bus a little wiser.
