What are your prayers like?

What are your prayers like?

Are they vending machine prayers? Throw a prayer up, get a prayer
answered.

Are they toilet cleaner concept prayers? "God I want you to clean up
my mess!" Remember Peter asking Jesus to ask him to walk on water to Him? A few steps in he was going "Lord save me!" Its normal really, and God does save you. But is there more than just these prayers?

Or is there the Open Empty Canvas Mentality (OECM), a desire for
surrender? Giving God the right to do anything He want, letting write His signature over our lives. It's saying "it's not what I want but what You want."

Jesus is the best example!
Jesus became the prayers He prayed. The OECM reqiures us to become our prayers. From the LORD's prayer to His prayers at Gethsemane, Jesus prayed in accordance to God's will that He may become the prayers He prayed.

Pray such a prayer! Seek God's face that you may have the ability to walk and pray such prayers. And God is faithful, He will make such a difference in our lives as we seek Him.
